FATPSW member, Nathan Prince, has brought to our attention a potential loss to the General Aviation community in the FATPSW region. Siskiyou County is looking to close Happy Camp Airport (36S), due to a lack of FAA funding as a result of minimal airport traffic. If you happen to be flying around the Northern California, Southern Oregon area, please entertain the thought of landing at Happy Camp now and then to keep up the appearance of an active airport in the hopes to help it stay open.
