CRAZEDpilot.com provides a MOTION CONTROLLED Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD) available for use at McNary Field, Salem, Oregon.  Use our Flight Instructors who are experienced sim operators, or bring your own flight instructor!  Even fly SOLO to practice VFR/IFR or to legally maintain your IFR currency (minimum 2 hours dual required with an instructor prior to solo use). The Motion Simulator is AVAILABLE 24 HOURS A DAY by door code for authorized instructors or pilots!  Payment is completed at the end of each flight with your instructor.  (We expect automated Credit Card charging at the end of every flight to be configured by end of November 2019).  

If you are a student pilot, pilot working on an instrument rating, a commercial rating, practicing emergency procedures in your choice of aircraft (EVEN your choice of throttle quadrant to match your aircraft!).  Additionally, maybe you want to maintain your instrument currency? Student pilots can apply up to 2.5 hours in our AATD motion simulator towards their private rating – Instrument students may apply up to 20 hours towards their instrument rating, Commercial student pilots may apply up to 50 hours simulation time towards their commercial or up to 25 hours towards your ATP.   Finally, Instrument rated pilots may maintain their currency using the Full Motion Simulator here in Salem Oregon and can conduct the majority of their Instrument Proficiency Check in the simulator (however certain steps of the IPC must still be conducted in-aircraft).
